How to log in
The Preceda Log On screen requires you to enter your: Username, Password, and in some instances, the Client you have access to.

If you have only one database or you have access to only one database, you will be directed to the Preceda Welcome Page immediately once your Log In credentials have been verified and Sign In is clicked.

The use of Client Name is controlled by the Prevar *CLIENT_NAME and the Sysvar *SELFSERV_CLIENT.

Whenever you load this page, the background image randomly changes.
Once the correct Username, Password and Client have been entered, and if you are authorized to access multiple databases, a pop-up window Select a Database will be displayed.
Choose the database you wish to use and click Ok. You will be directed to Preceda Welcome Page.

If you are already enrolled with 2FA, you will be requested to enter a One-Time Password (OTP) generated by your 2FA Application before signing in. Click the drop-down for the steps on how to log into Preceda with 2FA:
1. On Preceda Log In page, enter your Log In credentials (i.e. Username, Password, Client).
2. An OTP validation screen will display asking you to enter the 6-digit code generated by the 2FA App installed in your smartphone.
3. If in case you do not have your phone with you, you can enrol another device by clicking the "Can't access your phone? Click here to enrol another device". Otherwise, skip this step and proceed to Step 4.
If you do not have your smartphone with you or you are having an issue with it, you can enrol another device. The re-enrolment can be completed as many times as you need.
To enroll another device:
- Click or tap on the "Can't access your phone? Click here to enrol another device" option on the OTP verification screen.

You will be presented with the similar process used when establishing another password if you have forgotten it. The initial step is to provide your surname and date of birth.
- Then, your Secret Questions will be asked.
If in case you cannot recall the answers to your secret questions, had a typographical error, or encountered any issue with the validation of your identity, contact your System Administrator. A System Administrator has access to the Preceda Reset User screen and can disable your enrolment, so you can enrol again as if it is the first time
- Upon correctly filling out everything, you will again be provided with the QR Code or secret key to register in your 2FA Application .
- Once you have successfully scanned the QR Code or entered the Secret Key, an OTP verification screen will be displayed. Enter the 6-digit code from your 2FA Application and click Sign In.
- When you have correctly entered the 6-digit code, your new device will be successfully enrolled.
4. Manually enter the 6-digit code from your 2FA Application (or tap the code from the 2FA App to automatically copy the 6-digit code, and paste it in the field if using Mobile), and click Sign In.
NOTE: The 6-digit refreshes every 30 seconds so make sure you enter the code and click Sign In before the 30-second time limit passes.
5. Upon correctly entering the 6-digit code, you will then be directed to Preceda Welcome Page.
